Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALICE PATTY (PAT) SWIFT 1912 - 2003 Pat passed away peacefully on Monday, February 3, 2003 at Oakview Place. She will be very sadly missed by her family and friends. A loving and loyal sister and aunt. Left to mourn her passing are her brother Robert Swift (Alice) of Saskatoon; brother George (Jean) of Watrous, SK; and sister Enid Dawson of Winnipeg; also many nieces, nephews and their families, Richard (Dorothy), James, Rob, Don (Margaret), Reg, Margaret, David (Muriel), Michael (Beverley), Brenda (Don), Carol, Susan, Janet and Kathy (Don) and many great-nephews. Pat was predeceased by her parents, Ellen Mary and Robert Swift; her brothers, Walter and Arthur; sister-in-law Isobel; brothers-in-law, Don MacKenzie and Elmer ("Smokey") Dawson; niece Janice; and great-nephew Jeffrey. Pat was born in Saskatoon July 25, 1912. After moves with her family to Stettler and Vancouver, home was in Watrous for many years. There she completed high school. During the war, Pat served in the R.C.A.F. (Womens Division) and was stationed in Vancouver, Macleod and Winnipeg. After completing a dress design course in Toronto she spent 18 years in the trade. Later years were spent working at the Red Cross arts and crafts department at Deer Lodge Hospital. Leisure time was spent in painting and other creative pursuits. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at the Church of St. Stephen and St. Bede, 99 Turner Ave., 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 7, the Rev. Jamie Howison officiating, reception following in the parish hall. Flowers are graciously declined. If friends so wish, donations may be made to the memorial fund, the Church of St. Stephen and St. Bede, or to a charity of ones choice. The family would like to thank the staff at Oakview who looked after Pat with such care and compassion. NEIL BARDAL INC. 949-2200
