KENNETH EARL TIDMAN Peacefully at the St. Boniface Hospital on March 18, 2003, Kenneth Earl Tidman passed away after a short illness. Ken was born August 25, 1922 in Crystal City. As a young man his family moved to Winnipeg where he met his wife Kay with whom he enjoyed 52 years of marriage. He worked for Canadian Liquid Air for 34 years retiring in 1984. Ken is survived by his wife "Kay" Kathleen; his daughter Joan and husband Richard; grandchildren Lisa (Jonathan) and Jason; his daughter Joyce and her husband Rick and their children, Megan and Eric. Ken was predeceased by his parents, Percy and Nora; and his brother Roy. Ken enjoyed a full retirement. He and his wife enjoyed several trips to Hawaii. He loved working in his yard and tending to his car. He also enjoyed the friendship of friends and neighbours, Burt and Sylvia, Myrna and Sarah (now deceased). The family wish to extend a special thank you to Dr. John Peterson and staff of St. Boniface Hospital, 4E, especially nurses Kurt and Edward. A service celebrating Kens life will be held on Friday, March 21 at 10:00 a.m. in the Edward J. Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald St. The Coutu family in care of arrangements: EDWARD J.
