Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHNDRICK HERNANDEZ TAN It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Johndrick Tan announces his tragic death, suddenly on Sunday, May 11, 2003. Johndrick was born on February 6, 1984. He attended Faraday Elementary School, graduating Valedictorian of his class of 1996, and St. Johns High School. He was such a bright and happy young man. He was a video game whiz and he liked to draw, watch basketball, work, and have fun. He enjoyed life. He wanted to become an architect or a computer programmer. Johndrick was a gentle soul, whose unassuming ways, and true interest in all his family and friends lives will be missed. His memory will live on, because of all the lives he touched. Johndrick will be sadly missed, and lovingly remembered, by his parents Regie and Charlie Tan; his sister and best friend Ate Josie (Sonkid) his favourite niece, Somerlyn; aunts and uncles Boying and Lorna del Rosario, Marilou and Alex McQuaid, Emma Tan, Lourdes and Jeff McArthur, Ralph and Dolores San Juan, Frank Hernandez and Dina Hernandez, Ging, and Rudy Alvaran; his cousins Wilfred (Flo), Zos (Ralph), Santos, John (Kristy), Siegfried and Jasmine del Rosario, Herc (Angie) and Gerald Galang, Francis, Jane, Jose (Anne), Joe (Julia), Leah and Rodney Tan, Katie and Meg McArthur, Archie, Cheryl, Beverly San Juan, Lori, Carolyn and Rodney Martinez, and Chabong. Johndrick was predeceased by his uncle Angel Tan, his beloved Lola Remy, Emiliana and Nemensio Hernandez. Lamay will be held on Friday, May 16, and Saturday, May 17 from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, May 19, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Josephs R.C. Church, Rev. Fr. D. Parrenas presiding. Cremation to follow. Interment at Assumption Cemetery Queen of Heaven Mausoleum at a later date.
