WALTER SYDORKO September 7, 1921 - September 29, 2003 After a lengthy illness, on Monday September 29, 2003, at the Pinawa Hospital, Walter Sydorko passed away at the age of 82 years. Walter was born in Red Deer School District, in the R.M. of Lac du Bonnet, MB. He was predeceased by his first wife Katie in 1948; his parents, Angela and Peter; his sisters, Adeline, Elsie and his brother Alex. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Katie; his daughter Shirley and husband Albert Sidof and grandson Garry. He is also survived by his sisters, Jean and Mabel and brothers, Joe, Richard and Johnny. Thanks to Dr. Petkau, the nurses and staff at the Pinawa Hospital, to Home Care nurses, Daryl Froese, Carol Walton and Myrium Duke for their care and compassion. Special thanks to Glen Hirst for all his help and kindness to both of us during this time. In accordance with Walters wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service.
