MARY THOMPSON Mary Thompson was born September 9, 1909 in Winnipeg MB. She died peacefully at Deer Lodge Centre on April 21, 2004. Mary was a woman who lived her life the way she wanted without regret. She worked for Eatons retiring at 62 after 44 years. Throughout her life she was an avid sports fan and for many years played golf and was a life member of the Manitoba curling club. Mary lived at the Fort Rouge Ecumenical Apartment for 30 years where she was able to contribute and made many friends. She was predeceased by her brothers, Jack, Frank, Tom and sister Dorothy Powell whom along with Dorothys husband Norm she spent much of her retirement years travelling with. A memorial service will be held at St. Lukes Anglican Church, 130 Nassau St., Winnipeg on Wednesday, April 28 at 1:00 p.m. Memorial donations in memory of Mary may be sent to the charity of ones choice.
