Offer Condolences or MemoryKATHLEEN (KAY) MARGARET KOSACK (nee PATSON) Peacefully, on Wednesday, April 28, 2004, Kathleen (Kay) Margaret Kosack passed away at home. She was 81 years old. She is lovingly survived by her son Andrew Kosack (Donna) daughter Shirley Bainard (Larry) five grandsons, Christopher (Kelli), Brent (Candace) and Brian Kosack; Scott and Grant Bainard; and one great-grandson Zachary Kosack. She is also survived by the father of her children Steve Kosack; her brother Harold (Zonia) sisters, Adeline, Doris and Marie; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was born on October 1, 1922 in Libau, MB one of ten children to Barbara and George Patson. Kay became a member of the C.W.A.C. (Canadian Womens Army Corps), training to decode secret messages. After the war, she completed a dressmaking course and became a talented seamstress. She also enjoyed serving in the Canadian Corps of Commissionaires. She had many jobs over the years but her first priority was her children, and later, her grandchildren to whom she was known as Baba. Baba was very loving to her children and grandchildren. At her request cremation will take place. A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, May 4 at 11:00 a.m. in Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway with Pastor Lorne Pearson officiating.
