MARY PHYLLIS TASSIE Peacefully, on April 30, 2004, with Charlotte by her side, our Mother and Grandmother, Mary Phyllis Tassie passed away at the age of 98. She is survived by her daughters, Charlotte Anne and Olivia (Jack) Sutherland; grandchildren, Heather (Craig) Brown and their children, Christopher, Lindsay and Scott (Carrie) Paul (Eileen) and their children Jess and Leah; Grant (Maureen) and their children, Mark and Neil; and John. Mary was predeceased by her husband William in 1954. Our Mother was so proud to have graduated from the Winnipeg General Hospital School of Nursing in 1928. Her life was centred around her family from then on. We would like to thank the staff at Beacon Hill Lodge where Mom lived for the last five years, for their care and understanding. A private family service will be held on Thursday, May 6, 2004 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home with interment to follow. Flowers are gratefully declined.
