ALEX JAMES WHITNEY JR. Peacefully, on Saturday, July 3, 2004 at St. Boniface Hospital, Alex James Whitney, Jr. passed away at the age of 52. Alex will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife Helen; son Neil; daughters, Pamela, Tina and Nathalie; parents, Elsie and Alexander Whitney; sister Linda Henrickson; nephews, Larry and Fred. Alex was born on March 24, 1952 in Winnipeg. He worked at Sterling Glove Company for over 35 years. Alex enjoyed fishing, rock and roll and spending time with his family and his dog Mokah. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 7, at 12:00 noon at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery. Special thanks to the doctors and staff on E5, St. Boniface Hospital for their care and kindness. If so desired, donations may be made in Alexs memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
