Offer Condolences or MemoryBEATRICE ELLEN TAYLOR (FLEMING, SIMPSON) Bea was born in Carman, MB on September 16, 1927. She died at Port Colborne, ON on Thursday, April 22, 2004. Bea was predeceased by her father George (Alice) Fleming in 1989. She was wife of the late Laurie "Red" Burton Simpson (1961), and Captain Clayton "Flip" Herbert Taylor (1981). Bea was also predeceased by her sister Wendy (1947), brother Paul (1971), grandson Angel Taylor (1991), and special nephew Anthony Fleming (1999). She is survived by her mother Annie (Garnet) Comberbach of Winnipeg, and remembered by brothers Joseph (Carole) Fleming of Calgary, George (Janet) Fleming of Wallaceburg, David (Pat) Fleming of Vancouver, Bill (Virginia) Fleming of Edmonton, Delbert (Jospehine) and Wayne Comberbach of Winnipeg, Medric (Kathy) Comberbach of Tyndall; and sisters Kathy Allk of Salmon Arm, Lacona (Raymond E.) Cunningham, Maroah (Rael) Borgia of Winnipeg, Lorise (Randy) Clark of Edmonton; and sister-in-law Joan Fleming and son Nathan of St. Catharines and many other nieces and nephews. Mother of Pamela Boese, Patricia (Lyle) Soles, Gavin (Julie) Simpson, and Eric Paul Taylor. Remembered by her nine grandchildren Laurie, Darcy, and Daniel Boese, Lonny and Lisa Soles, Matthew and Peter Simpson, Sarah and Mark Taylor; and great-grandson Lee Terrance Soles. Bea renewed personal faith in Christ as her Lord during the last months of her illness. Special thanks to her long time friend of 43 years, Verna "Ditty" White, and sister-in-law Joan Fleming for their many visits and spiritual care during her nine month hospitalization. As well to special friends Sid and Maureen Bates and children Garret and Christy, for opening their home to Bea after her cancer surgeries. The family also specially thanks the Doctors and Staff at Welland and Port Colborne Hospitals for their compassionate care. A final memorial service will be held Saturday, August 7 at 2:00 p.m. at Doyles Funeral Chapel in Carman. Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery. The planting of a flower or tree in Beas memory, or a donation to a charity of ones choice in lieu, will all be appreciated by the family.
