SARA TABB Peacefully with her family by her side, Sara Tabb (nee Stern), at the age of 87 passed away at the Sharon Home on December 11, 2004. Predeceased by loving husband Chaim and brothers, Max and Bill Stern and niece Shayla Stern. Left to mourn her memory are her loving sister Min and husband Morris Cantor; sister-in-law Ruth Stern; devoted cousins, Ruth and Irvin Labovitch; Susan and Sam Primak and Jennie Boxer; loving nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Sara worked at Golden Co and then moved to Ottawa during the war years where she was employed with the government. Sara came back to Winnipeg to join the family business Crawford Office Equipment. Sara and Chaim spent many enjoyable winters in Florida. Sara was very artistic, got pleasure from sewing and knitting. The funeral was held at the Sharon Home Synagogue with interment at the Shaarey Zedek Cemetery officiated by Rabbi Rose. Shiva was observed at 224-707 Leila Ave. Many thanks to the wonderful staff on the 3rd Floor of the Sharon Home and especially to her devoted companion Jenny Liturn. A special thank-you to Rabbi Rose who was a great comfort to the family at this most difficult time. Donations in Sara's memory may be made to the Sharon Home or charity of your choice.
