Anne was born on December 1, 1909 to George and Ada Jane Redhead in Bury, England. She moved with her parents to Saskatchewan at an early age where they were homesteading. Her father was killed in the First World War, causing the mother to raise her three children alone - George, Anne and Ada. At an early age at the confession of her faith, she received the Lord Jesus Christ as her Saviour. She was educated in Regina, SK and later worked at General Motors where she met Murray Lornie Tasker. They married in 1932 and after which they had three children, William, Joan and Lynda. They moved to Winnipeg in 1938 where her husband worked at Eaton's. They attended the St. James Gospel Chapel where Anne was involved in the Ladies Group and Murray and Bill were involved in the boy's program. Left to mourn her passing are daughter-in-law Anne Tasker of Philadelphia, PA; son-in-law Abe Schmidt of Winnipeg, MB; and daughter Lynda (Merv) of Saskatoon, SK; grandchildren, Cathy (Cliff), Colin (Nadia), Timothy (Lisa), Dewey, Dan (Pam), Heather (Christopher) and Donna. Also, seven great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, brother George, sister Ada, son Bill, daughter Joan, and grandson Gordon.
