URSULA (TERRY) THOMPSON Terry passed away at the Health Sciences Centre on January 30, 2005 in her 73rd year. Terry, as she was known to her family and friends, was born on February 23, 1931. After completing her schooling, she started working for Dun Bradstreet in June of 1949. She worked her way up to secretary general, the position she held at her early retirement, after 38 years with the company. Terry loved camping trips with her husband and travelling to places such as England, Greece and Fiji. She also travelled to Toronto and Vancouver as well as Montreal on several occasions. She enjoyed reading mystery novels and watching cooking shows on T.V. and having friends over to share new recipes. Terry was predeceased by her father in 1941, her husband Jack, 1977, her mother 1986 and her sister-in-law Edith 2001. She will be sadly missed by her brothers-in-law Art (Audrey), Gordon; sister-in-law Florence (Bob) and several nieces and nephews and her very close friends, Margaret and Jean. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 19 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., with a reception to follow. The family extend their thanks to the staff at Health Sciences Centre, Medical I.C.U. and 5D for their care and compassion.
