ALVIN TIBAYAN Suddenly on Sunday, February 27, 2005, Alvin Tibayan passed away. He is survived by his parents, Helen and Tony Tibayan; daughter Andrei and girlfriend Ryelin, both in the Philippines; sisters in Winnipeg, Irish and Marites; sisters in the Philippines, Vivian (Jerry) Dimayuga and their children, Jillian, Jasper, Jhave, Jay-vee; grandparents in Philippines, Nanay Pilar and Mamay Ermo; as well as aunties, uncles and cousins in the Philippines and in Denmark, Puring, Loly (Juanito), Jovani, Joane and Riza; grandparents in Winnipeg, Camilo and Linda Villanueva; aunties and uncles in Winnipeg, Wilma (Romy) Pamplona and their children, Leonora (Danny) Barcellano and their children, Peter (Eva) Villanueva and their children, Alex (Marlyn) Tibayan and their children; cousins in Winnipeg, Wilma (Ronald) Mendoza and their child, Josie and Oscar Villanueva, Rona, Jobo, Nikka and Ruel Pamplona, Darwin, Dexter and Darryl Barcellano. He will also be missed by his close friends and coworkers. Lamay will take place on Wednesday, March 2 from 6:00 p.m. - 12:00 midnight at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. and also on Friday, March 4 from 6:00 p.m. - 12:00 midnight at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, with the prayer service beginning at 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 5 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Edward's Roman Catholic Church, 818 Arlington St. with interment and reception to follow.
