GLENN FRANK SYLVESTER On Friday, March 25, 2005 at the Boyne Lodge in Carman, MB, Glenn Sylvester aged 95 years, beloved husband of the late Ethel Sylvester of Carman, MB. Glenn was born in Carman, MB and was raised on the farm. He farmed for several years in the Carman area prior to employment with the Department of Highways throughout Manitoba for 20 years. Glenn will be greatly missed by his daughter Marlyn Lowes of Kenora ON and sons, Larry (Marg) Sylvester of Burlington, ON, Wayne (Alexis) Sylvester of Richmond, BC and daughter-in-law Betty Sylvester of Pass Lake, ON. Also grieving are 11 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by one sister June Drysdale and one brother Quentin. Glenn was predeceased by his wife Ethel in 2003 and son Dennis in 2004. The family would sincerely like to thank volunteers who availed themselves to his needs. The family would also like to thank the staff of the Boyne Lodge and the Carman Memorial Hospital. Again to these people we say thank you. Funeral service will be held from the Friends Community Church in Carman on Tuesday, March 29 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Neil Funk and Rev. Dale Warkentin officiating. Interment will take place in the Greenwood Cemetery, Carman. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Boyne Lodge, Box 1644, Carman, MB R0G 0J0, or to the Carman Memorial Hospital, Box 610, Carman, MB R0G 0J0.
