JEAN SZYDLIK After a brief illness our dearly beloved mother, Jean aged 66, passed away with her family by her side on Monday, May 2. 2005. She will be greatly missed, but always remembered by her loving husband George and her loving children Carole (Richard), Brian (Doreen), Wendy (Piero), Darryl (Millie) and her grandchildren, Angelica, Alanna, Jordan, Tyler and Carley. She is also survived by her siblings, sisters Ann (Bill) Boyd of Winnipeg and Florence Richards of Swan Lake, MB; stepsisters Adrienne Lee of Winnipeg, Fernande Rossmussen of Edmonton and stepbrother Adrien (Pete) Rodier of Winnipeg and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. We would like to thank all the staff at Riverview Palliative Health Centre, 3E wing for the compassion she received and also the family would like to express our gratitude to three Angels , niece Joan Stancin, Liz Henson and Jo-Anne Steinhilber for their support and comforting words during her illness. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 6 at 11:00 a.m. and will terminate at the Knysh Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in honor of the Canadian Cancer Society. KNYSH FUNERAL CHAPEL 1020 MAIN STREET 582-0973

  • My heartfelt condolences go out to George and family. I remember Jean playing with my daughter Joan and taking care of her. I especially remember her riding in my buggy with the Shetland Pony named Tits & Boots and what a good time she had.
