ADELINE ARSENAULT April 2, 1930 - May 24, 2005 It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Adeline on May 24, 2005 surrounded by her family. Adeline was predeceased by her husband Art as well as her brothers Mike and Bernie. Left to cherish many wonderful memories of Adeline are her children, Rick, Cam (Karen) and Holly (Don); her grandchildren, Kristin (Jodi), Brendan, Steven and Jason; her brothers and sisters, Josie, Casmir, Gloria, Roger (Alice), Mervin (Cecile), Leona (Frank), Ruth (Dave), Gary (Margaret) and numerous nieces and nephews. Adeline will also be missed by her pets, Keesha and Tia. Adeline was born and raised in Brightstone. She married Art and moved to Lac du Bonnet where they made a home for their children. Adeline was not only a mother to her own children - she welcomed many young people into her home over the years. The walls of her home hold many secrets of those who confided in Adeline and sought her comfort and advice. She spent many hours with her coffee girls, and hosting impromptu parties and BBQ's in their yard. No one that walked into her kitchen ever left hungry. Adeline enjoyed cooking her family's favourite meals, working in her yard tending her flowers and her home is filled with the many crafts she enjoyed making. Adeline's greatest joy in life was her grandchildren. Adeline spent her time making bacon buns, perogies, cabbage rolls and whatever special pie each grandchild favoured. Her happiest times were when her home was filled with the laughter of those she loved. The family would like to thank all the staff on B5 St. Boniface Hospital for the wonderful care they provided our Mom. A special thanks to Auntie Alice and Auntie Gloria for all their love and support throughout Mom's illness. A celebration of Adeline's life will be held at the Notre Dame du Lac Parish on Saturday, May 28 at 2:00 p.m. A private family interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cancer Society or the Lac du Bonnet Community Centre.
