MAXIMINO TABUGO On Wednesday, August 3, 2005, Maximino Tabugo passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital with his family at his side, at 90 years of age. He left to cherish his memory his wife Maria of 65 years. His eight children, Erlinda Tabugo, Florenda Camaymayan / Virgilio (Phil). Lilia Tabugo, Romeo Tabugo / Sally (Phil), Corazon Lotfi, Julia Tabugo, Basilio Tabugo and Gloria Hare. His 16 grandchildren, 12 in the Philippines: Ray Camaymayan; Lani, Glen, Virlie, Donna, Abad Tabugo, John, Rosalyn, Maricon, Christopher, Irene and Arian. Four grandchildren in Canada: Leonel Lotfi, Jasmine, Jenny Lynn Tabugo and Shaun and 14 great-grandchildren. Max arrived in Canada in February 1975 as a tourist and immigrated a year later. Max started working the summer of 1975 and retired at the age of 70. He enjoyed going to wrestling games and watching them on TV. He liked to go to the parks on weekends and beaches at least 3 - 4 for times during the summer. He was an avid gardener and lived life to the fullest and his biggest joy was to baby-sit his four grandchildren here in Canada. He was a member of the Original Philippines Seniors Association. The family would like to thank all the HCA and nurses who cared for him. Thank you very much. Lamay to be held on Thursday, August 11 and Friday, August 12 from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight. Prayers officiated by Fr. Dado Parrenas, Friday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral mass to be held at St. Joseph R.C. Church on Saturday, August 13 at 10:00 a.m. with Fr. Dado Parrenas officiating. Interment to follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Bien Cudia, Oscar Dimaano, Lucien Dooma, Alex Luna, Steve Olea and Dennis Rodriguez.
